In my last report; I explained that we were not able to host a booth at this year's BIGGA Turf Management Expo which we are attending this week in Harrogate, U.K. Upon learning of the situation, BIGGA was able to make our booth presentation possible while adhering to the budget originally approved by the IGCEMA Board of Directors.
We were then able to reinstate the booth orders and proceed with arrangements as planned, and we will be displaying the IGCEMA site along with hosting Webcast presentations from our booth during the show this week. We also plan to broadcast the Inventory Management Webcast scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, at 15:00 ET (10:00 GMT - Harrogate time) in our booth in order to display the educational benefits of IGCEMA Membership to BTME Attendees. The IGCEMA thanks BIGGA for making the BTME IGCEMA booth possible through their extraordinary cooperation and assistance. Our continued growth in Europe and around the world is made possible by the assistance of groups like BIGGA who have recognized the potential of our Association and have taken action to assist us with our endeavors. Thank you, More... |

Hi JP. Could you let us know the times/dates of the webcast activity from the stand so that we might be able to tune in please?
I'm sure you are having fun and meeting lots of people. It's a measure of the growth and strength of the association that we can send a delegation of 4 to represent our membership and to support Eric Kulaas as he receives the Edwin Budding Award this year. We look forward to hearing more news from your trip.

JT -
Tomorrow morning we are opening the show early, then going to the Award Ceremony at 10:00 GMT. We will get things fired up soon thereafter on Tuesday, and will be bouncing in and out thruought the day. I am unsure of exact times because if GIS was any indication, we will have interruptions all day, but we will do our best to be on each day of the show from 9:00 - 5:00 GMT. Meetings have been fantastic so far, but it will be a while before we can write up reports. We hope to be able to share news on Webcast during the week. Best regards -

Great!! Such a descriptive word.
I had a wonderful chat overnight (My time) with our delegates to the BTME show. They are having a great trip and doing great work for our association Joining us on the webcast from Harrogate were Karl B., Blas, Hector, Bill H., Skip, and Scott. If you get a chance do log-in to the webcast and support John, Mike, Stephen and Frank. They are a long way from home but are among friends. You never know who you might see. I was delighted to chat with Clive Nottingham and Jason King as well meeting Chris Minton from The Belfry course. Just great... And we heard all about the presentation ceremony of the Edwin Budding Award to Eric- A great occasion! JP will be uploading lots of info from this trip over the next few days.

John.
It sure was a pleasure to speak with you live from BTME in Harrogate on Tuesday last week.I went to meet the guys at the IGCEMA booth and what great people they are. Having just spoken to my Line Manager (Kenny Mackay who was until last wednesday Chairman of BIGGA) i told him i would like to get in touch with other equipment technicians/mechanics over here in the U.K. to let them know about the IGCEMA.Kenny has said he will get BIGGA involved into passing on information about IGCEMA. Regards for now Chris |

It was an incredible trip. I felt absolutely welcomed and at ease the whole time. I follow a Vegan diet and when traveling I never quite know how I'll do food-wise, on this trip I gained weight.. I can not say enough about the folks at Ransomes-Jacobsens (RJ) and their hospitality.
There are some definite differences in golf maintenance though. Here most courses have a tech, over there (from what I saw) most courses are a lot closer to a dealer and do not. That was about the biggest eye-opener to me. And each country seems to have it's own way of doing things. For an "International" Association a lot to take in.
