Default rg3

over the past two weeks we have had the prototype rg3(which is the robotic greens mower) at our facility and have been helping tweak the bugs and reel problems, i was just curious if anyone out there would actually be interested in using these on their course. I know we have no desire or need for these, just curious.

Michael,
I talked to the super about them a couple of months ago and he didn't care for the idea but we are interested in hearing how they work out once the bugs are gone. The thought of less operator error is always appealing.

I have expressed an interest in these machines with Precise Path but have not heard from them...

John, I know they are still in the prototype phase, still have a lot of bugs, they will be back here tomorrow and friday to meet with potential investors, so it sounds as if it will be at least another 6 months to a year before they will be selling these on the market, if not longer.

It's best for them to get it right before making the trip to Florida; I don't like bugs on my Greens!

Regards -

And once they are done with all the bugs in FL bring it over to CA. Actually CA would have being the better testing grounds! We are definitely looking forward to try out this new technology, just imagine the immediate and long term benefits on a fleet of this mowers...Also check out the following link for more info....

It would be fun to see how the industry converts to these over the next decade or so.. Greens are just the beginning, they are the easiest. I'm waiting for Tees and fairways myself. Rough would be great but I'm not sure what Irving would do if we tried to replace him
