New service feature allows students to take tests without scheduling an appointment
Students needing to schedule a proctored online exam may now take it within 15 minutes of logging on to ProctorU, thanks to a new feature called Take it Now. Normally, students are asked to create an exam appointment. However, now students can log in, create an account, and take their test in the next 15, 30 or 45 minutes, depending on availability.
Increased demand for online proctoring results in opening of larger facility in Central Alabama
ProctorU held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new facility in Hoover, Ala. that is nearly twice the size of the company's previous site in the Yellowhammer state. On April 26, the online proctoring company moved from a roughly 2,000 square-foot facility in Pelham, Ala., to an office in Hoover that is about 4,000 square feet. This office is the company's largest center to date with a 50-station capacity.
